Angel 5x22 "Not Fade Away"....The Final Episode

My feelings:

-The dragon at the end looked like the one from the season 5 finale of Buffy. Could it be the same one? But, wouldn't we have heard about a dragon in Sunnydale and L.A. sometime before now? Of course, everybody in both cities choose to ignore the unusual.

-I can't believe that they killed Wesley. I had a feeling he would die, after everything he's been through, but it was a rather pathetic way to go. However, the way he died in Illyria's/Fred's arms was so sad. It was very sad when Illyria became Fred for Wesley as he died.

-I loved that Spike actually went out in public with his poetry. He even dedicated it to Cecily. When I heard "My heart, tis grown a bulge in it...Effulgent." I just started laughing. He's come full circle.

-Lorne killed Lindsay?! At first, I thought he wasn't dead and would get up again. He didn't...I guess they had to kill everyone who had been there since the beginning. Cordelia, Wesley, Fred, and Lindsay were almost the only ones left from the beginning.

-I don't understand why Anne was there at all. Does Gunn have feelings for her, or did he simply want to help someone before he died?

-They didn't show Illyria killing her foes. Just a crumpled car. I wanted to see her fighting.

-Lorne seemed very depressed. Until he became friends with the Fang Gang, he was always so happy. All the fighting killed his spirit.

-Harmony betrayed them?! I was hoping Angel would stake her after that. She gets away after betraying everyone.

-I loved the scenes with Connor. He's starting to be better with his acting.

-When Wolfram and Hart started to collapse, was Eve killed? Did Connor get out alive too? Where were all the lawyers? Did they know what would happen? I loved how Angel killed Hamilton, though.

-That final scene. The team in the alley vs. monsters sent by The Senior Partners. I can't believe it's over. So moving. They can't possibly survive that final battle without a miracle. And, as the bad guys were running toward them, I thought it looked remarkably like something from Lord of the Rings.

We'll miss you Angel. Thanks for 5 wonderful years...

My rating: 10/10
