I'm better today. Apparently, though, my body can't handle the pain medication. It made me dizzy and then throw up. I don't see how people can get addicted to this stuff--it's horrible.

Since I can't take the pain medication, I'm supposed to just take an Ibuprofen if I start hurting. For the next week, I also have to take Penicillen, so I don't get an infection where the teeth were pulled.

In other news, I've altered the background of my strega_willow journal. Does anyone know how to change the updates so you can still see the background?

Wow. That's a lot worse than I was.

These were molars that were pulled. Sounds like it's more painful when wisdom teeth are taken out.

And they had to *cut* my wisdome teeth out too! (Because my mouth was too small, they wouldn't grow in and were stuck under the gum line.) So that might account for the added pain. Although it's funny, I don't remember the tooth pain much. I think the allergic reaction overshadowed it. ^_^

I wasn't awake for the cutting, BTW. It was dental surgery, so I was put under with some kind of shot. It was very weird going to sleep in the dentist chair, and then waking up in the next room on a cot.

My mouth is extremely small too. If mine ever get taken out, it might be like yours.

For my molar extraction, I was put under too. I was knocked out during the entire extraction. When I woke up, I was still in the dentist chair. They didn't move me to a cot.
