I think that bad guy was odd, but interesting. Even more ruthless and scary than Jayne. Did they ever call him anything? I know he said he had no name or designation, I just thought they might call him something.

I thought of something else, too. When it was mentioned that everyone who had ever hidden them was killed so they would have nowhere else to go, does that include the prostitutes they helped with Inara? (When one gave birth, and shot the father of the baby.)

Question: Was Mr. Universe ever in an episode of the series? I don't think I recognized the name at all.

I half-expected Book's death. It was still sad. I also half-expected Book to betray them all somehow, and I'm glad Joss didn't do that. Maybe they'll tell a little of Book's past someday, but I doubt it.

Wash being killed is something only Joss would do. Right when you think they're safe, the person is killed. (And

seandc and I both thought it had parallels to Tara's death. Mostly there for the shock value.) Zoe was devastated--but her method of grieving was what I expected. Kill them all, and then cry when the job's done.

The only good thing from Wash's death? I got a title for the essay from his last words. "Two Leaves Dancing In The Wind." Since Wash was the pilot, I naturally assumed he wouldn't be killed off. After all, how would they fly the ship? They're always on the run and can't really trust Outsiders.

The origin of The Reavers? One word: Wow. All those bodies, and that woman's last message? That was incredible. It also makes sense for The Alliance to have done that, since they seem bent on controlling the feelings and actions of the people in their space.

After the point where The Reavers were attacking, I assumed they were all going to be dead. It would be something that Joss would do, just to mess with people. Especially since it looked like they were all half-dead anyway. Zoe shot in the back, Kaylee with a dart in the neck, Mal busy being beaten up elsewhere, Simon getting shot in the stomach when he went for his medical bag... (Also thought it was cute that Simon confessed his feelings for Kaylee. Suddenly, Kaylee can fight and use a gun. :lol: )

River is the new pilot? If she has an episode and goes crazy, the whole crew will know. They'll start flying in circles. And Mal at the side just in case was cute. He wasn't needed at all. I also noticed the little dinosaurs that nobody wanted to move. The dinosaurs were left there in memory of him, I assume.

The grave scene was very sad. Especially with the holographic images of how they were in life. (For some odd reason I nearly cried at Wash's death, and at the funeral. Not Book's, though.)

Does anyone have a link to a site with images from the movie? I need to find a scene of Zoe at Wash's grave in the end. And does anyone know of any Post-Serenity fanfic with Zoe's feelings about what happened to Wash?

The very end was great, with a piece falling off. :D
