Power Rangers ended after 17 years and 700 episodes, it would seem. I watched that show in middle school, and the very beginning of high school. Going by Wikipedia, I probably quit watching shortly after they turned into ninjas. So around the time of the first movie, I guess? I remember Billy heading for a planet made of water.

I have to recommend this great Doctor Who fanfic I just read. It’s set after Waters of Mars, and the title pretty much says it all. How the Doctor Ended the World by Changing the Fixed Point in Time that is Firefly’s Cancellation.

This might be old, but I hadn’t seen it before. Tom Wilson (aka Biff) answers questions he’s frequently asked about Back to the Future—via song.

I just got back from seeing Serenity. I got in free, after all the trouble I went to. :D

All I can say right now is: Wow.

I'll post a better review tomorrow, after I've had some sleep. Tired right now.

I was going to go see Serenity at 1:55 today. As it is now 2:15, you should observe that things did not go according to plan.

I went to the theater and got there by 1:15--just so Dad and I could be there early. (He wanted to go, too.) We got there and there were no cars in the parking lot--nobody around, and nothing being shown at all. Not even the employees were there. It wasn't even open.

Finally, after waiting until 1:45, someone showed up. They said they had never heard of Serenity being shown at 1:55, and that the first showing would only be at 4:30 PM. (It was a teenager. He didn't really care, and it showed.)

Dad was angry, and we went home. I checked the local paper's website, and it says 1:55 for the first showing. He called the theater, spoke to the manager, and we should have either free or half off tickets if we go at 4:30. Just because of all the trouble we went to in order to see it.

We're going to try to go at 4:30, even if that is later in the evening. I want to actually see it, and this is the only good week.

ETA: In the newspaper, it says 4:30. The newspaper's website, 1:55. Someone was wrong. Dad printed it out from the website so we could prove that it said that.

So far, I have managed to avoid all spoilers for Serenity. Which basically means not reading over half my Friends List for 3 days. (Almost every post included spoilers behind an LJ cut at one point.)

There is a very good possibility that I will be able to go see Serenity either tomorrow or Thursday. At least, as long as there aren't any disasters.

Right before I went to see Batman Begins, the power went out. It came back on 1 minute before I had planned to leave for the theater. Thankfully.

I've actually managed to avoid all spoilers, so I know absolutely nothing about the plot. :D
