A Hodgepodge of Links
It would appear that Sixapart sold LJ to Russia. The best post to come out of everything so far is this one over at metaquotes. For the brave (or foolhardy) souls that actually want to read the
dw_news comments or the post itself, it’s here. Just be aware that the post--as of a few minutes ago--had 3,969 comments. I just wanted people to know that, in case it might freeze a browser or something.
A sidenote: I have heard a few people saying they're going to leave for Insanejournal, and I just wanted to say that for now (since I have a permanent account) I likely won't be leaving. However, my IJ is calliopes_pen for those that haven't already friended me over there.
Also,
fandom_me is trying to see if this post can reach 5,000 comments. All those that want to lend a hand, head on over there.
For those in the UK: Apparently, the BBC wants to edit things in order to make a more kid friendly Torchwood, from what I’ve heard. If they took all the adult stuff out, it would only be 5 minutes long. Well, that, or just the opening and closing credits.
And, lastly: Does anyone have any suggestions for a PB for Catseye? Over at find_a_pb, someone’s trying to come up with ideas, and I wanted to help. Out of curiosity, I was also trying to find out who would work for Cypher.
