Meme Answers, And X-Journal Poll
Is anyone else having problems with LJ not e-mailing comments? I thought that nobody had responded to the meme in the previous post for a little while, until I checked just now and saw one comment. Beneath the cut, are the ten characters I listed, and the questions and answers. It’s just insane.

If #7 and #2 were trapped on a desert island together, would they get along or go crazy and try to kill each other? If the latter, what would be the 'last straw'?
The Master and Martha? Oh, the horrors that would happen on that island. *laughs* They would go crazy. The final straw would be when the Master wouldn’t stop tapping. It would drive Martha over the edge, and she might just find a sharp object and go through all his regenerations. That, or (more likely) she would tie him up and stick him in the nearest coconut tree--and gag him, because knowing him (if it was Simm!Master) he would taunt her.
Someone needs to write a fanfic for that scenario, too…
#6 is running for president against #2. What are their basic platforms, and which of the other 10 vote for each, if they vote at all.
Methos is running against Martha Jones. I might actually vote in that election. After the Year That Wasn’t, Martha’s would be survival. Methos’ slogan is his regular one with a slight alteration: Live, Grow Stronger, Fight Another Day--But Vote For Me.
I don’t know how the others would vote--Gene and Sam would be stuck in the 70’s, and would miss it. The Master (if he were alive again) would grumble about how he should have thought of joining the race again. Chloe would be digging up dirt, and either ignoring the platforms or trying to find out if anyone worked for the Luthors.
#9 and #10 are entering as a pair in a talent show. What's their talent? Do they win?
Sam Tyler…and Gene Hunt...in a talent show. That’s a crack fic waiting to happen. Sam would try to convince Gene that they could sing a duet. Between the arguing between the two, it would be likely that they would lose. The final straw would be the brawl they start that gets them thrown out. They wouldn’t care, though--they would go out and get drunk at Nelson’s.
Also, next month when I start on that X-Journal application (once I’ve finished the Martha as Immortal fanfic) I’m going to have a back-up choice just in case it turns out that I can’t try for Nocturne, or if I can’t work her history out in a way that doesn’t involve Scarlet Witch or Nightcrawler as her parents, or anything to do with alternate realities. I settled on Meggan as that second option after reading the![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
x_project meme, and getting some ideas on how to get the character to return to Xavier’s.
To that end, as a back-up, I’ve been trying to come up with a PB for her. However, since she never met Captain Britain as far as I’ve read, she wouldn’t be the blonde she changed herself to. And since she started out with brownish fur, I’ve gone around looking for someone that could work with brown or red hair, and that had Meggan’s air of innocence/joy. I’ve started a poll on the three I managed to scrape together. If you think it should be someone else, vote Other, and write in who you think is better in the poll immediately following that one.
