Doctor Horrible, Plus Meme Answers
I just finished watching a download of Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. I think I liked it. I was already spoiled (long, long ago) for how it ended, so it wasn’t a surprise to me. No spoilers in this post, but there might be some in the comments. Anyone know of any good Dr. Horrible LJ groups?
Next, a meme--apparently, LJ waited a long time (almost a month) before sending me the comments. It was from the association meme.
The five things thatalejandradd associates with me are:
1. Highlander. That’s one of the few fandoms I’ll probably never entirely leave. And as a random sidenote, a long time ago I started a fanfic (maybe back in 2007?) in the fandom. The beginning of it has managed to survive, despite the computer crashing and dying a couple times. If I remember correctly, it involved Duncan and Methos going to Dracula’s castle—which is actually Bran Castle. Vlad was an Immortal. *tries to find it* Okay, it made it as far as 2492 words before dying when it was still at the beginning, and it was going to be called The Quickening Is The Life. Someday I might post an excerpt, but I doubt it will ever get finished.
2. David Tennant. Currently hooked on Doctor Who, so I’m not surprised.
3. Fandom in general.
4. Power outages and bad weather. Nothing to say about that, except I hope the ice storms never happen like that again.
5. Posting about celebrity news (ie: deaths). I don't read/watch the news, so I find out about a lot of stuff from your LJ. I just happen to have people on my friends list that tend to hear about it rather quickly, from what I can tell.
And now, whatmorgeil associates with me.
1. OT3s. That would be because of the OT3 ficathon entries I’ve written.
2. Ten/Donna One of my favorite pairings in the fandom—both as just friends, and as a couple.
3. Martha/Eight (sorry, it's just that icon you have...) I’m using that icon for this post--I don't think I had ever had the occasion to use it before, though.
4. New Who/Classic Who fusions Presumably in my fanfic? I do my best to keep from ignoring past canon. Good to know someone associates that with me.
5. David Morrissey. Maybe because of when I asked if Blackpool was worth watching?
