Two Fanfic Memes

Here, have a couple fanfic focused memes that I've seen floating around. I'm posting them both, since they're almost the same sort of thing.

The first one:

If you were asked to pick one scene, one shot, one detail, one moment of some kind out of all the things I've written and say "This, this, for whatever reason, I remember, this is something that struck home with me, that I wanted to keep," what would it be?

And the second:

Quote a bit of my writing at me. Find that one story of mine that you really like, and find a sentence or a paragraph that presses your prose-buttons in the right way, and comment here with it.

I think what impresses me about your writing, aside from anything specific about character and plot and whatnot, is your absolute focus and dedication to getting your story told! Your Yuletide fics especially tend to be so well-crafted and an amazing length for the relatively short period of time you have to write them. It can be done!

Yes, I really do suspect that my brain saves it all up over the year, to be unleashed on whoever I'm assigned for Yuletide. The word count's stunning to me, too, so I definitely agree on that.
