Smallville

I'm currently watching what seems to be a Smallville marathon. I just started watching an episode and missed the first half of it. Apparently, there is some sort of key. Jonathan and Lionel are fighting over it--it created some sort of portal for a moment, and now the key is in the wall according to Lionel. Christopher Reeve guest stars. Does anyone know the name of this episode?

I think I like this show, but I can't tell since I haven't seen enough. I'll watch the next one (on in a couple of minutes) before I decide.

This is my first try to watch Smallville, too.

ETA: OK, according to the commercials, it's a 9 hour Smallville marathon--I missed the first 7 1/2 hours.

Reeve was in two episodes "Rosetta" and "Legacy". From your description, I think you saw "Legacy". I watched the first season or so, but it didn't quite take with me.

That's ep.#2.17, Rosetta. Next one up should be Visitor (if its in order?) which isn't the best ep ever but its not the worst either.

I <3 Smallville, especially Chloe and Lex. Give it a try. *nod*

Oh so it's season three. then taht Chris Reeve ep was #3.17 Legacy. This one now is season 3 finale, Covenant. Very cliffhanger-y.

Hee yeah it's really shocking, I love the fragmented scene with Lionel and the other characters.

Rent the DVDs so you can catch up with the seasons, I think season 3 is one of my favorites but season four is mostly good too.

Lex is the best part of the show, IMHO (I watched the first three seasons religiously, and have seen about half of the current one). Rosenbaum's an amazing actor, and Lex's character is ten times as deep and complex as any others. (Also just my opinion, but I'm one of those hardcore Lana haters. *L*) Outside of Lexness, there are a few really great episodes of the show, and the Chris Reeve ones are among them.
