Army of Darkness

I've heard that Army of Darkness has an alternate ending that was only shown in Europe. Instead of ending up fighting a demon and getting the girl at S Mart, Ash ends up stuck in the future.

Has anyone actually seen this ending? Is it good? And does anyone know where I can download the alternate ending?

OMG yes. I've seen it. It's actually available on DVD. There was a new version of AoD that was released with it -- it is the original ending, too.

It's very good, very funny/sad, very much in keeping with Ash's character and his luck. I personally prefer the S Mart ending, but that's just me. :)

The drops they give him in the original ending get mixed up (he takes too many) and so he sleeps too long and wakes up in the future and is stuck there.

I'll bet you can DL it off limewire, since the DVD is available to purchase anywhere now.

I've seen it, it's hilarious, and it's on at least one of the gajillion DVD editions of the movie that are out there. It really does cement Ash as one of the most screwed-over characters of all time.

I've seen it. It was supposed to be the true ending but apparently it didn't play well in tests or something. It's pretty funny.
