You all should comment with things that you think people reading this LJ ought to know about me. If you were describing my LJ to someone who was trying to decide whether to read it, what would you say?

And a bit of help—who do you think would work for a Dani Moonstar PB? I was considering applying as her over at Xtended--at least, once they reopen for applications after moving to Insanejournal.

You probably already know about http://nativecelebs.com which is the only real help I have to give you. A lot of the actors/models listed on the site don't have that many high quality pictures up either (or any), but it's a good place to start looking sometimes.

I went there a few times a while back, and I agree about the lack of high quality images. That, and when you do find someone that could possibly work, they usually don't have enough images to make more than one or two icons.

And, sadly, a lot of places I've seen ban the more obscure people. They ban the really famous ones at the same time. Weird.

You could try looking at Latina actresses instead?

There are a few movies made by and about First Nations/Native American people, and theoretically if you find someone good from NativeCelebs in one of those movies, you could rent a DVD and take screencaps, but I don't know how viable that would be, either, and I have no good suggestions off the top of my head.

I know some people have used Alex Rice for an older Dani before, but I can't find any pictures online where she's in the right age range for your requirements.

Hmm, not sure, but I'd say Jessica Alba as she looked in Dark Angel, then again... I just don't know any native American actresses or models.

unlovablehands' idea is probably better though.

No, I've just always thought Jessica Alba just didn't seem right for Dani. That, and she tends to be too famous to be allowed in most games I've seen. Thank you for the suggestion, though.

It's definitely tough to find Native American actresses (or someone that looks close to one) that would work.
