Empire has made a list of the 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time. Doctor Who, Firefly, Buffy, and Angel are included in various places on the list. Quantum Leap is #50, and their favorite episode of that is definitely one of my favorites—the only plot of that show that I still vividly remember (Al was Satan!) to this day. I didn’t watch it when it first aired, but probably when it was in reruns on USA or the Sci-Fi Channel, and I’ve never a large chunk of it.
20 Worst Comic Movies Ever. Well, I watch The Shadow whenever it’s on Encore and nothing else is on, even if I can’t figure out whether the guy’s a reincarnation of a warlord, possessed, or just did some very bad things in between being a playboy. I think I went to the theater to see The Phantom, and there’s really no excuse for that. I watch (hated the comic, sort of like the movie) League of Extraordinary Gentlemen whenever it’s on FX.
They should have added Spider-Man 3, X-Men 3, Captain America, Doctor Strange, and a few others.
dark_aegis declares it Love Your Beta Day. In that vein, I want to thank all of the people who have beta read stories for me at least once. In no particular order, they (going through my tags and making sure I listed them all from various fics and fandoms) are:
seandc,
persiflage_1,
ausmac,
nightrider101,
senmut,
koshkaphoenix,
noneofyours,
sasha_anu, and
nos4a2no9. Thanks and hugs go out to you all.
And it looks like Hayley Westenra won the Meggan poll, so a huge thanks to those that voted.

For some reason, whenever Hollywood makes a movie based on a comic book, they cram so much special effects into it that they forget to put in a story, or cast decent actors.
So true. Maybe they think the geeks are only there for the random explosions. I'm there for the story.
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm is another good one. Oh, and Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker--can't forget that one.
And then, there are the ones that fall somewhere in the middle. Meteor Man comes to mind, but only because they were recently showing it on Encore. Sort of horrible, mostly cheesy, and really odd.
Oh, and Wikipedia has a list of pretty much all of the movies based on comics. Did you know there was a Power Pack tv movie in 1991? (It's listed in that link.) Weird.
