Rescheduling, The Dark Knight Tickets, And More...
Earlier, I got a phone call from the blood doctor and for some reason they were trying to rearrange a bunch of schedules, because Wednesday was no longer a good day for them. They said they were putting me down for Friday, and wanted to know if mornings or afternoons would be good. I picked mornings, they said the appointment was for 10 AM on Friday now, (which is better than 1 PM on Wednesday anyway) and I hung up.
Then, I realized that the Batman movie was for 11:30, so there’s no way I’ll make that one now. Since at that doctor, it tends to take up to 30 minutes to get in, if they’re backed up. And if I needed any intravenous iron—which is doubtful, but you never know—that might be another hour. So Dad’s now off with the tickets to the theater, to see if he can give those back and get anything either later that day, or on Saturday. We’re hoping it’s not sold out.
ETA: And he returned moments before I could post this. He got tickets for the 1:40 PM showing, on Friday. If I'm not back by then, he can run out yet again, and get a Saturday showing.
In other news, the RPG character poll ended with a three way tie, (Gertrude Yorkes, Pixie, and Nocturne) with 5 votes each, so I just now picked the one that seemed like I could do more with them. Nocturne. I’ve started altering the images of a few PB ideas, and I think I’m finally starting to get a little bit better at making eyes glow. Who does everyone think looks best for Nocturne out of these three choices, by the way? (First, there are links to each altered image, followed by the poll.)
