Sometimes it's okay to pimp yourself out. Post a list of your top five fic-favorites you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag five other people to do the same.
My top 5 mostly consists of stories I’ve written for the Doctor Who fandom. Which reminds me--someday I really need to write the Highlander/Who crossover where it turns out Martha’s Immortal. I have an outline of how the entire thing would go, I just never actually got around to writing it.
Resurrections and Conflagrations. This one is from the Doctor Who fandom, and I loved writing it for the OT3 ficathon. “The Doctor decides to do a bit of spring cleaning in the TARDIS’ attic--first, though, there’s an attempt to make breakfast which, naturally, goes horribly wrong.” There weren’t actually any pairings—it was just Jack, Rose, and the Tenth Doctor discussing embarrassing moments.
The Dark Rider. I wrote this for
spook_me last year, and I think I also wrote it before I saw the season 4 version of Donna. The summary: “Mysterious deaths in a small New England town intrigue Donna and The Doctor. Is a ghost really behind it, or is it an alien threat?” The Doctor and Donna deal with the Headless Horseman.
Banana Nirvana. Written as a response to a prompt from
fandom_me, mixed in with a prompt from
frenchroast. Because of
frenchroast, the Doctor makes Jack choke on his morning cup of coffee by saying the line: “Oh, Jack. Wake up and French kiss the morning already.” The summary: “Jack, Martha, and the Doctor talk--the Doctor is great with the mind games, Jack wants to roll in banana pudding, and there will be tickling.”
When The Music Stops. First, there was a drabble where Jack and Martha danced—at the request of
persiflage_1, it evolved into this story. The aforementioned story (yet to be written) where Martha turned out to be a Highlander brand of Immortal would have then continued from When The Music Stops, if I remember correctly.
Big Damn Archer. This one was in the Firefly fandom, and I wrote it for a ficathon over at
shinyhearts. As I had to use the Robin Hood legend, there was some research on the history of the time, and because of the time frame Jayne ended up swearing in Old French (with translations at the end of the story) rather than Chinese.
Also, had there been room, I would have added the two drabbles (also in the Doctor Who fandom) that I wrote. One, involved Martha and Jack dancing. The other, involved Martha and the Doctor playing with a ouija board (it turned into a longer story later, with the Master haunting the TARDIS). Oh...I’ll go ahead and link to it anyway. Here are the two drabbles, and A Haunting We Will Go is the continuation of the second. When The Music Stops was actually a continuation of the first drabble.
I won’t tag five people—anyone on my friends list that feels like doing the meme, can go ahead and do it if they haven’t already.

[Bounces] Oh, oh, oh! I'd so read this!

The wasp seemed more likely, and after the episode of Who in season 4 (The Unicorn and the Wasp, I think was the title) I would actually have a name for the thing.
