Apparently, David Tennant has slipped a disc, and needs back surgery tomorrow.

ABC will be making a pilot based on the comic Fables.

For those that are interested, there will be a season 2 of Merlin. On a slightly (barely) related note, I’ve downloaded the second episode of season 1, and I’ll watch it later.

For anyone that hasn’t run across it, fandom_stocking is sort of like yuletide. Give me a little while, and I’ll edit in where my stocking’s located.

Oh, and since it was mentioned in the comments of a locked post of mine, for anyone that didn’t see it, frenchroast made a group for fans of The Librarian trilogy. librarian_films.

Now see, I never ever think that people as skinny as he is would have such bad back problems. At least not as his age. It just seems so unlikely, somehow. Unless it's injury related (like picking up something wrong at work). Maybe that's it. I guess it makes sense now. I will check out this fandom_stocking.

Based on what I've read around the internet, it was just a culmination of things over the years. Jumping from a balcony in Casanova, the floating Doctor (because of the harness) scene in Last of the Time Lords, picking Martha up wrong at the start of season 3...

Just a lot of things.

Sort of like cross-country truck drivers in the old days (i.e. 20-30 years ago). The trucks had crap shocks, and those poor guys would have their spines jarred like they were pogo sticks. I'd see them in car accident cases where they'd be suing my client --- they'd be 35 years old and have the spine of a 65 year old. Bad news.

ABC might produce a pilot but eh. They are canceling Pushing Daisies. I have no faith in anything different getting serious consideration.
