6 Reasons Why Horror Fans Make The Best Film Fans.

Someone in my earlier Holmes post mentioned there was a Tom Baker version of Hound of the Baskervilles, with Baker as Sherlock Holmes. A quick search on Youtube later, I found the entire movie, if anyone out there wants to watch it. Part 1 is here. Parts 2-5 can be found on this page. And parts 6-12 can be found on this page. For those interested in reading more comments in the discussion of best and worst Holmes movies, I cross-posted to [personal profile] 221b_bakerst over here.

From Io9: Never before seen Ghostbusters behind the scenes shots. And speaking of Ghostbusters, Ivan Reitman explains why he thinks the time is right for Ghostbusters 3.

An interview with Alan Tudyk—and the [profile] whedonesque post about it can be found here.

The 10 Greatest Science Fiction Comedies. Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, and Galaxy Quest are included on the list.

Hmm, nope. My mind can't be eased over GB3 no matter what spin anyone tries to put on it. The fact is the original GB films and humour were such a product of the era they were made in, you just can't recapture that two decades later. I can't think of any current actors/comediens with the same uniqueness or edge that Murray, Ramis, etc had and I really fear this is going to end up being as flat as a pancake.

I'd love to be proved wrong but I'd rather they just left it alone.
