Fannish Items of Interest
A few days ago, I linked to a hysterical Highlander/Castle crossover. Now,
strangevisitor7 has written a sequel that’s just as great. It’s The Great Pumpkin, Duncan Macleod.

Top 10 Vampire Deaths
Bryan Fuller has left Heroes again.
As of yesterday, it’s been 20 years since the Tim Burton version of Batman was released.
elisi posted a couple pages from a comic that shows what would happen if Lisa Simpson were a vampire slayer. Basically, going to the library for research means you start looking for more, while everyone and everything around you dies. I would probably do that, too.
No matter what happens with the third Ghostbusters movie, it looks like there’s not much of a chance for Sigourney Weaver to be involved in it.

That makes me feel so young, haha not. I was six when it came out. I didn't see it at the time (it was rated 15 in the UK; I saw it on TV a few years later) but I remember the hype surrounding it and Channel 4 screened the Adam West tv series and movies as part of that hype. I saw Adam West's Batman first but the first two Burton movies is the Batman I grew up on. I hold them dangerously close to my heart, flaws and all.

Eh, not bothered. I always thought it was really lame that they brought her back for GB II. Dana served her purpose very well in the first film but I thought it was such lazy and uncreative writing to use her as the damsel in distress again. I prefer it in the Real Ghostbusters cartoon where Peter had a different girl every week. It left much more freedom for more storylines than keeping him tied to the same love interest does.

Had no idea about all those problems with the animated films.
Not sure I'm sorry to hear about no sigourney weaver in either Ghostbusters or Aliens. Very excited about Ghostbusters.
