Sidenote: There was a Lifetime movie on yesterday (Augusta, Gone, I believe was the name) that included Mika Boorem in it. I actually made myself watch, so I could see if I thought she would work for Spoiler. I decided that she didn’t really. Oh, and I almost included Alona Tal in the poll after all, until I checked--and she’s taken, as she’s the PB for Black Canary over there. If anyone’s thinking of Kristen Bell, though, she’s on the taken list, too.

I thought of Jessy Schram too but couldn't remember her name for the life of me. :P I kinda thought of Tamzin Merchant, Haley Bennett or Elisabeth Harnois, but in the end didn't seen to work in my head (Plus, bot too many pics of Tamzin out of period dresses).

I think I'm becoming addicted to looking for PBs now. Which is disturbing considering I'm only in one game...

This is just kinda long way to say "From the ones you got, I like Jessy and Caroline" *votes*

I was thinking of the same thing when it came to Elisabeth Harnois. In the end, she just felt wrong for Steph, as you said.

Jessy Schram also has a striking resemblance to Brittany Snow, going by comments in various places. (Although Brittany Snow wouldn't have worked for Steph.)

I do that a lot--over on Insanejournal, my Memories section is pretty much devoted to that. It's huge.

There's something about Elisabeth. She's gorgeous and intriguing but I think she lacks the air of badassery that would fit Spoiler judging by your description. Funny enough she was my first choice for another character a while ago (I was looking for a blonde Natalie Domer type PB) and decided it wouldn't work for those reasons (ended up going with Natalie Dormer. not always easy to find icons but I just relax and make my own).

I see the Jessy/Brittany rsemblance, but I agree Brittany wouldn't work.

I may be going that way! Not too long ago someone on our game was having trouble finding a PB. She found the perfect person - only problem was, the one place where he looked the part was a TV ep of a random Japanese show. I somehow took this as challenge and ended up tracking the ep, capping it and making her some icons (Even more awesome was our mod who found a gallery for the guy and managed to make even more icons.) I kinda posted mine in a separate journal and I'm now working on different actors just so I can post something else in that journal!

I think another one that got suggested elsewhere was Emma Rigby. Check the first couple of pages of her Google Image results, and see why I decided she wouldn't work for Steph. She just...looked like a Paris Hilton clone.

As people post icon updates at pb_updates or in their journals over there, I add to it. If someone looks like they might work--even vaguely--they usually get added to it. Or if there's a search with interesting results from someone at find_a_pb, I tend to add that, too. Just in case.

Of the ones you polled, I liked Jessy Schram the best.

In a random icon set, I noticed someone named Taylor Momsen. Maybe a little too edgy for Steph, but looks the right age and blonde.

I've used Blake Lively for years (since as soon as I could download the first Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, shortly after it came out!) but I'm not 100% happy with her. I switched to Leslie Bibb for a few weeks but that was worse.

I think I'm sticking with Blake Lively, but I try to avoid Gossip Girl shots and stick with Sisterhood - and I'm leaning back towards going all-comics icons lately since we're getting more.

No, not yet. I haven't applied yet, but I plan to over at a game on Insanejournal called Cretaceous--which is also the journal name for it. It's a Marvel/DC crossover game, set in the Cretaceous period.
