Fannish Items of Interest

Found via [personal profile] hils: The Dark Knight Meets Superman. It’s hysterical, and shows how Superman would stop the Joker and Two-Face.

Regarding the new logo for Doctor Who--while I’m not entirely sold on it, I’m certainly not about to stop watching the series altogether. (Yes, I’ve seen a few saying this) You can watch the logo in an ad here.

Scouting NY takes a look at how New York has changed since Ghostbusters. Very interesting.

You can watch the trailer for the new K-9 spin-off here. Den of Geek discusses it here, and Sci Fi Wire here.

Syfy is apparently showing season 1 of Highlander: The Series. Unfortunately, it’s late at night.

If anyone has any other suggestions for what I could write for the [personal profile] spook_me ficathon—anything OT3 related in Doctor Who—please go here. Or just vote for the options there, if you can’t think of any other suggestions.

Heh, I know Hook and Ladder 8 rather well - it's nice to see the comparisons (including how upscale TriBeCa has become in the years after "Ghostbusters"...)

amusingly the second article about k-9 points out that K-9 is: beloved as a sidekick to the doctor, but he's a character who doesn't quite seem to stand on his own. For instance, in a Who-themed episode of the British game show The Weakest Link, poor K9 was voted off the game despite answering all of the questions correctly

as if this happened because everyone hated him and just wanted him gone. yes, even tennant.

the new shoe does look terrible though, and OOC.

Oh, fandom, never change.
