Fannish Items of Interest

The Most Unfairly Cancelled TV Shows. Firefly, Pushing Daisies, and Wonderfalls get mentioned.

Dollhouse has been cancelled. The remaining episodes are supposed to be aired anyway, and there should be a “significant series finale.”

Also cancelled: Hank, so Jordan Hinson will probably head back to Eureka.

For those not sure about signing up for Yuletide, sign-ups close at 8 PM CST.

I have to say, I'm not at all shocked about Dollhouse. It was an interesting concept, but Whedon just took too long to develop it into the story he was gearing up for.

And I just posted my Yuletide letter! It's at my fanfic journal (http://velocirapturous.livejournal.com/2468.html).

Thanks! If you need a go-between, I'd be happy to return the favor(and sorry, I probably should've asked before I volunteered you).

Wow. Hank and Eastwick. So Jaime Ray Newman might be back as well.

I agree that Joan of Arcadia was unfairly cancelled. It was a religious show that managed to stay true to its point while attracting (to my knowledge) Catholic, Protestant, pagan, and atheist fans. *That* isn't easy!

And the messages weren't preachy like Touched By An Angel. It was a universal message without being specific to any major religion. I miss Joan of Arcadia.
