Syfy changed its mind, and now Eureka is canceled. The six episodes order from before has been removed. They will air the remaining episodes, and that’s it.

BBC America is going to air three Doctor Who specials, leading up to its return in late August.

If it were a Spyware Doctor issue blocking it, it would be affecting more than just that.

Eureka has been renewed for a 5th season.

The cast for the newest season of Dancing With The Stars will be revealed on August 30th, at a live press conference that takes place during an episode of Bachelor Pad. All I know is that if a couple of the rumors are true, (The Situation being cast was one of them, I remember hearing) I won’t be watching. I’ll find out who was cast the next morning, since there is no way I’m watching Bachelor Pad.

In Russia, someone started a cult dedicated to worshiping Gadget Hackwrench from Rescue Rangers.

Batman robbed a Taco Bell drive-thru. No money was taken, just food.

Starz released character profiles and a series synopsis for the new season of Torchwood.

More people may have been cast for X-Men: First Class. Maybe. At this point, it seems like it’s more rumor than anything else, given the fact that yet another person was supposedly cast as Emma Frost. This time, it’s January Jones.

Geeky Wedding Invitations. The zombie wedding invitations are my favorite, with the Browncoat wedding (complete with autographs from Joss Whedon and Nathan Fillion) a very close second.

Does anyone need a Dreamwidth invite code? It’s a first come, first serve basis, since I only have seven. I’ll PM you the invite code.

Also cancelled: Hank, so Jordan Hinson will probably head back to Eureka.

Saturn 3 is reportedly getting a remake, and so is Yellow Submarineand Dirty Dancing. I was about to ask whether or not they had already made a sequel, but the article I’m linking to confirms they did. And nobody watched it, either.

Here’s something interesting. A shrine to a certain Torchwood character has been set up outside a door that’s used for Torchwood. If you haven’t already seen Children of Earth, you will be spoiled.

Dirt-Cheap Aliens Who Still Look Awesome. The Daleks are #10 on the list. #2 happens to be the 456 from Torchwood.

Warehouse 13 has apparently been picked up for another season by the Syfy Channel, with the potential for later seasons to be longer. I haven’t tried this one yet—is it worth watching? And on that note, is Eureka good? I’ve just recently watched the last two episodes of the current season, and wondered if it was worth watching earlier ones.

And, lastly, the Rahne and Illyana PB poll will be closing at the beginning of next week. Probably Monday evening or Tuesday morning. If you haven’t already (and last I looked, nobody had) voted, please do so here.
