I edited my offering for the auction at qldfloodauction just a little bit, to include these fandoms that I'm willing to write: The Librarian, Highlander: The Series, Merlin, Buffy, and Angel. Willing to completely ignore Highlander: The Source for the sake of everyone's sanity. If it hadn’t been so long since I had seen an episode of Xena, I would have included that. Would anyone actually want to see Mr. Boogedy fanfic? If so, I can throw add that into the mix, too.

Re: the Time Baby: I mentioned to someone else not that long ago --- in October/November, I saw a photo with her sitting in a bar with her dad and two women. I thought she was pregnant from the way she looked and was drinking some fruit juice looking thing when her dad was drinking a pint of beer and the other two women were drinking wine (or something in wine glases, anway). Of course, she could just be tee-total, and the dress may have made her look pregnant, but she'd be out of her first trimester now if she was pregnant in that photo and would probably be telling people now as a result.

Of course, my real reaction to all of that celeb stuff is "Who cares about that crap? They've discovered how the Celts made beer 2500 years ago!" I like to keep things in proper perspective. In fact, I wouldn't have even noticed all that much about that photo if it hadn't been for the fact that Peter Davison beer looked like it was Guinness, and I'd have thought he was a Harp man.

Although I debated it before, I've never watched Highlander: The Source. Reading your post here reminded me about it, and I decided to read the summary of the movie on Wikipia.

I should have stopped reading at "Duncan's mortal wife."

What were they trying to do, tick off the fans in a really big way?

It gets much, much worse than that. They had already ignored the no wife for Duncan thing with Highlander: Endgame. The Source just took it one step further.

I would never recommend watching that movie, but the better option would be to watch Spoony's review. He covers the worst of it in about 45 minutes, while slowly going over the edge into complete madness.
