A fourth season has been confirmed for Being Human.

The Russian trailer for X-Men: First Class includes a bit of footage not previously seen in the English version. Read the comments at Blastr, since someone translated the text and dialogue into English. You get to see Magneto in his helmet. The other difference is there’s music in place of the JFK speech.

The idea of a Sandman series is dead again.

The preview for Red Nose Day includes a short clip of the Doctor Who segment.

Do you know how well the American version of Being Human is doing?

While I haven't been watching that one, I have seen a couple comments that it seems to be doing rather well in the ratings. Not a huge phenomenon or anything, but it's stable.

I watch it, and I really like it. Didn't know if it was better than the original or followed the original or just a stable show that happened to be on.

The funny thing is that a lot of Supernatural people are on it and so a lot of crossover ideas spring to mind.

Given the assorted clips I've seen of the remake, the original seemed better in terms of chemistry between the leads, as well as the way they did their plots. I would recommend giving the original a try (the whole first season, which isn't that long) at some point, just to see the differences for yourself.

It can get a lot darker than the Syfy version seems really willing to go. I jumped ship around the start of season 2, came back when it aired on BBC America, and then kept watching. Syfy has also lifted at least one of the plots (and possibly a bit of the dialogue) straight from the UK version, so you might see some similarities having seen the Syfy version first.

I'm not a fan of Supernatural, but that does sound like it would be a perfect fit.

I think that I will have to. We don't get BBC or anything over here in Michigan. I didn't even know that it came first until I was looking on IMDB for info on the American show and saw that it did.

The British version just finished up season 3, so you know what to look for.

Also, the character's names are different. Syfy took pretty much every element of the show from the UK version, and renamed the characters. So Mitchell (who is played by Aidan Turner) became Aidan. George became Josh. Annie became Sally. Herrick became Bishop.

Can they do that? I mean, was it okay for them to do that or is this a blantent knockoff but because it is on SYFY instead of like...ABC or NBC (Where the Office is) then it is okay?

I really don't know if it's okay for them to do that or not, but it walks the line. Syfy is planning to do that again with another British show or two, as well.

Oh, and another thing you need to know when tracking down the BBC version is that they filmed and aired a pilot prior to the series being picked up. So for that one pilot, Annie and Mitchell are played by someone else. George was the only one remaining of the cast once it was officially picked up, and a few elements changed in the transition. My suggestion would be watch season 1, and then go back and locate the pilot.

If episode 1 says Annie is played by Lenora Crichlow, you've found the series. If it says Andrea Riseborough, then that's the original pilot. Since I've found torrents that had two of episode 1 included but didn't tell which was which, that's how you'll know.

Top three texts to Amanda, from Meggan:

1. "You yelled "GET TO DA CHOPPA" and burst through her screen door and disappeared into the night. With the goose."

2. "What is an appropriate "thanks for saving my life" gift? I don't have any experience with this."

3. "I knew it was time to leave Waffle House when you started singing "What's Your Fantasy" to your hash browns."

The first one would be Meggan telling Amanda about a strange dream she had. Second would have been at some point after Selene or any other traumatic moment. Third one...I just don’t know why, and I couldn’t decide which was sillier for her. Just with the pillow fort one, I’d assume Meggan fell asleep while they were out somewhere, and Amanda didn’t want her rolling off a bed?

That would be a perfect explanation. What Meggan wouldn't remember the next morning is she joined in on that singing at the Waffle House. And that there would likely be video evidence if someone had a camera phone....
