Changes to the universe in the wake of DC’s reboot include (but are not limited to) the following: Roy Harper is too young for kids--so Lian Harper no longer exists and therefore was never murdered, and Wonder Woman has retractable pants. A Batman panel at Comic Con confirmed (in addition to several other things) that Selina Kyle’s daughter has also been erased from existence.

A Ghostbusters Terror Dog Lamp. If I had any room for something like that around here, I would ask for that for my birthday next month. I think it’s cute—why, yes, I am strange.

Man of Steel has been pushed back to June 2013.

Before the new series begins, James Rolfe gives an overview of the original Thundercats.

Caroline Skinner is the new executive producer for Doctor Who, replacing the departing Piers Wenger.

After everything that was announced at the DC panel I am so fucking done with that company. I hope this reboot costs Dido his job...

Outside of Nolan's Batman movies, I pretty much won't be going near anything they do now. I've mostly been a Marvel fan for 27 years anyway.

That is indeed just a weird little choice in the middle of a sea of bad decisions. Who sits in a board meeting and shouts "Retractable pants! YES, write that down." anyway?

I keep trying to not care about DC any more... I can't figure out what they're thinking. Roy Harper being a single father was the unique thing about him. Why are they taking all the interesting unique bits out?

They've erased everything interesting in him, Barbara Gordon, and so many other characters. It's a very bad move all around.
