Jan Berenstain—half of the couple that wrote The Berenstain Bears—passed away over the weekend, at the age of 88, after suffering a stroke. May she rest in peace. I enjoyed those books when I was little.
Marion Mathie passed away on January 20th at the age of 86. May she rest in peace.

CBS has their Watson for Elementary—it’s Lucy Liu! Seeing as I’ve never really been a fan of hers, and I don’t like Jonny Lee Miller, there’s a high probability that I will be sitting this one out. Some sites were saying this was the first time Watson’s been a woman—it isn’t. There were two tv movies. The Return of Sherlock Holmes and Sherlock Holmes Returns: 1994 Baker Street. Both of which had Holmes needing to be defrosted in the present day. And, maybe, They Might Be Giants could count, even if it was just a coincidence that her last name was Watson.

The latest TV Guide has the cast of this season’s Dancing With The Stars. They include: Melissa Gilbert, Jack Wagner, Gavin DeGraw, Donald Driver, Roshon Fegan, Katherine Jenkins, William Levy, Maria Menounos, Martina Navratilova, Sherri Sheperd, and Jaleel White. And, according to this, Gladys Knight. I almost want to watch, just to see how Katherine Jenkins or Jaleel White manage. But since Sherri’s involved, I’ll avoid at all costs.
