The Import Is Complete

All comments have imported successfully for librarian_films and relation_ships as of half an hour ago. I discovered and cleaned up one case of Russian spam in the form of a truly massive wall of text in a comment of the latter from about a year ago, which went unnoticed (but screened, even following the import) until now.

As planned, both communities were deleted from the Livejournal side once I made certain that everything was in order. Following input in favor of not going that route, I plan to leave big_damn_quests in both places. It's safely backed up here on Dreamwidth, should anything worse remove it over there.

I gave myself a mini-heart attack yesterday on LJ. I cleaned up my communities and was trying to delete one and ended up deleting my journal instead. Freaked me out. I eventually got it back, but not be fore sending a support ticket to LJ. Now I have to check my email today and see if they got back to me so I can apologize for panicking. I think I'll just leave the communities alone and let them be deleted by LJ. I can't go through messing things up like that again.

I spotted your post about that very thing a few minutes ago, actually. It was a completely understandable panic if you hit the wrong button.

I probably gave myself my own mini one at one point, when I almost didn't select the correct journal (by switching it to point to a certain group) to import everything into. Before I set it in motion, at least I realized it was still pointing to this one at the very last second and went back quickly. Otherwise, this journal would have had me, a friend I helped import all his stuff for, and three groups littered somewhere in the archives.

I still haven't had the time to check my email and see of LJ support replied to my panicked plea. This week's just been crazy. I'm away this weekend so I'll make a point of checking my email on Monday. I have some apologizing to to to them. LOL.
