I think that would have to be Ghostbusters. Since the age of 3, I'm pretty sure I've watched it more than a million times. There was a period of time when I was little, when I watched it three times a day. When it was shown at a theater around Halloween a few years back, I went to see it. Whenever it's on any channel, I will watch it. Given all that time watching it, I'm probably not going to get sick of it.

This time, it seems to be official. Andrew Garfield has been cast as Spider-Man. For Doctor Who fans, he played Frank in the Daleks in Manhattan two parter. Now, the next order of business—who should play Mary Jane Watson? My ideas so far are Alicia Witt or Felicia Day. I would have said Molly C. Quinn, Rachel Hurd-Wood, Danielle Panabaker, or Saoirse Ronan with red hair, but they’re far too young, given how they have Peter Parker looking. Then again, Saoirse Ronan might have worked better as Gwen.

Meggan/Buffy the Vampire Slayer

When Meggan’s found in the Buffyverse, it would be the same sort of circumstances as when she was found in x_journal. In this version, while it's the same clan, they likely had plans to use the Innocence in some sort of ritual. Given she was in Germany, this would have to be post-season 7. While Buffy helps out with Potentials, the main three that try to help out with raising her would probably end up being Willow, Xander, and Giles. She would stay furry and thinking she was a monster for much, much longer, with all the demonic activity going on. Willow’s magic would confirm she wasn’t, along with countless hours spent pouring over ancient tomes just to be certain on Giles’ part. I can just see her trying to follow Xander around all the time, at least until she’s settled in.

I’m kind of hoping they aren’t actually on top of another Hellmouth, just so every Tuesday wouldn’t be spent trying to save the world and keep her safe at the same time. Giles would be run ragged. “No, Meggan--no playing with those demons! Go play with Clem! No, you can’t have sagging skin, that’s far worse than fur. Change back. Don’t touch the magic books, they are not toys.”

Meggan/Doctor Who (Classic or New).

How she looks really depends on which incarnation of the Doctor manages to find and help her, and then which companion she gets attached to and starts to mimic. So I’m saying the Tenth Doctor, around the time Martha and Donna were in and out of the TARDIS. This way, she misses the Master by a month or so, so she wouldn’t end up in a cage with the ancient Doctor and end up even more traumatized than she already is. Helping her deal with all the problems she has while in the TARDIS, on Martha and Donna’s orders, before anyone even thinks of doing a lot of running away from aliens. Or even going into a single dangerous situation.

I considered having her with the Eighth Doctor instead of the Tenth, but she really doesn’t need to get dumped on another planet while he goes off to the Time War. Martha would likely be her regular guardian, and when she left the TARDIS they would stay either at Francine’s or at UNIT. Thus keeping her away from most of the pitfalls of the Doctor’s life, with only a few trips in the TARDIS if Meggan and the Doctor teamed up to beg with huge puppy dog eyes.

And you have no idea how much I laughed at the thought of this.

Well, with her growing up in the Jem universe, Meggan’s hair isn’t going to look normal by any means. I considered Juno Temple, but that’s just too outrageous (I’m so sorry for the pun) to work for her. Azura Skye is too odd. So I would say the PB for her in this universe would be Jewel Staite--a version with rainbow colored hair like when the actress was in Space Cases, but with a huge amount of pink mixed into the equation. Even if she almost looks normal now, she’s kept away from the limelight. Since I haven’t seen the cartoon since I was three or four, I’m thinking that the instrument she would end up playing would be the saxophone. Badly. What with all that saving the world from the Misfits, Jem and the Holograms just didn’t have time to properly train Meggan in music.
