There Goes The Mailbox...

Apparently, during the night, someone went around knocking over mailboxes in the neighborhood with a baseball bat. Every other mailbox was dented or just leaning a bit.

But ours? The pole is made of metal, and it looks like the fact that it wouldn't get dented properly made someone mad.

And they ran it over...at least judging by how it's bent all the way in half, and the box portion is just a few inches off the street. Only a car could have done that.

Dad called the cops, and they were supposed to come to our house--but once they realized it was all down the street, they slowly drove by and it looked like they just started writing which houses had been hit.

What a way to start the day.
