Beware The Rosebush...
Sep. 17th, 2007 06:34 pmThere was a dog (no, Sean, it wasn't Cujo this time--it was a tiny thing) out in the front yard, along with my cat and a stray cat. Since the dog was friendly, I went out to see if he would come near me. He did, so I petted him a bit.
When I started to back away to go back to the house, I wasn't looking where I was going--I didn't realize the giant rosebush was directly behind me.
I'm sure everyone can see where this is leading.
That's right--I started to stumble, and moved to balance myself, and ended up falling in it. Mostly got thorns in my left arm. A couple in my right, a few in my shirt. One in my leg, that I just found.
I knew there was a reason I hated rosebushes. Other than allergies, of course. Before anyone asks, yes, I've put something on the scrapes and areas where thorns were stuck.
There...really isn't an appropriate icon for this type of situation, is there?
*pulls another thorn out of shirt*
