In my Doctor Who fanfic, I make a passing reference to the creature in The Runaway Bride. Which is the correct spelling: Racnoss, or Rachnos? I keep seeing various spellings, and wanted to get it right.

Happy Halloween

Just thought I would mention to tell those that are interested in X-Men RPG’s, that it looks like Xtended (where I played Rahne for quite a while—it was a great game) is being restarted. Here is the post that lists held and taken characters for those who are interested. I’m currently trying to decide on whether I’ll be getting a hold on either a non-Limbo Illyana, or Rahne again. I love both characters.

Summary: Mysterious deaths in a small New England town intrigue Donna and The Doctor. Is a ghost really behind it, or is it an alien threat?

Notes: This was written for the spook_me ficathon. I’m setting it sometime after season 3, probably during season 4 as Donna is the companion. For those that haven’t seen the end of season 3, there are a couple of mentions of events that occurred, and a certain revelation about Jack. Also, a mention of the second episode of Torchwood. The name Phillip Fixell is a merging of two names--the first name of Sleepy Hollow’s mayor, and the last name of Tarrytown’s. His middle name is a nod to Washington Irving. There isn’t actually a river where I’ve placed it, but Washington Irving claimed creative license and I wanted to stick with a river being nearby.

Trick-or-Treat Meme

This trick-or-treat meme has been floating around my friends list all day long, so I went ahead and tried it myself. First, you select a costume—I selected a Weeping Angel from Blink. Then, you select people on your friends list, and find out what you were given.

ETA: In real life, as of 6 PM, we have had a grand total of one trick-or-treater so far. It was a 1 year old that was dressed like a ballerina. The girl didn't want to go trick-or-treating, and threw herself on the ground and started crying.
