Demonoid, Lungbarrow, And Various Other Things...

Sources on my friends list say that Demonoid has been shut down. Apparently for good this time, sadly enough.

Oh, for Doctor Who novel fans, I recently ran across a Doctor Who novel of the month club here on LJ. It’s dwbookclub, and this month’s book is Lungbarrow. Discussion posts are locked unless you join, it would seem. The novel is outrageously expensive (the cheapest I’ve ever found is $95) but you can read the entire thing on BBC’s site. It can be found here, and I plan to read it soon.

I need a few more votes on that Illyana poll because it seems to currently be a 4 way tie. The link can be found in the previous post. If anybody doesn’t want to go back and look, the link is here.

1. Doctor Who: tomalak301 got this one right. The Tenth Doctor, because he's just so insane and dorky and is fascinating to watch.
2. Highlander: The Series
3. Torchwood: tomalak301 got this one, too. Captain Jack Harkness. Loved him on Doctor Who, and I love him on Torchwood, too. Why do I like him? Well...he's Jack. What else can be said?
4. Real Ghostbusters
5. Firefly
6. Buffy the Vampire Slayer
7. Heroes: tomalak301 got half of this right, since I have two favorites. HRG--morally grey can be a wonderful thing on that show. My other favorite is Hiro, when he's in the present. He's so geeky and funny.
