Links, Plus Meme Answers
Jan. 5th, 2008 04:36 pmFirst, here are the answers to a meme, taken from
silvercobwebs.
-Leave me a casual comment of no particular significance, like a lyric to your current favorite song, your favorite kind of sandwich, or maybe your favorite game. Any remark, meaningless or not.
-I will respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
-Update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
-Include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in your own post.
-When others respond with a desultory comment, you will ask them five questions.
( The questions and their answers are beneath the cut )
Next, here are a couple of ficathons that I just thought I would spread the word about. The first is being hosted over at
smith_n_jones, and is for stories set when Martha and the Doctor were trapped in 1969 during Blink. I just signed up for it.
This next ficathon (called the Finish-a-thon--they explain the concept better than I can) is more where you pretty much finish an unfinished story of yours. Others decide which it should be, and you try to finish it. I likely won’t sign up, since other than the fanfics I’m currently working on (or will work on) the only thing that’s floating around in limbo is a Highlander fanfic that I abandoned.
