We Have A Refrigerator!

I just thought I would let my friends list know that there’s an Eighth Doctor ficathon being hosted over at henriettastreet. The sign-up post is here. I won’t be signing up, since I haven’t read enough of the novels with that incarnation of the Doctor. The only companions I know of thus far for the Eighth Doctor are Sam and Fitz.

Also, LJ has put up a new draft policy, as of today. penknife linked to it and pointed out all the things that will be of interest to fandom as a whole. You can read the post here.

Lowe’s really is a good place. They arrived with the new refrigerator at 1:20 PM, and everything was finished and set up by 1:29. They said to wait about 20 minutes for it to get properly cool. The old refrigerator was light yellow (apparently that was the rage 30 years ago, along with green ones, according to Mom) and this one is more off-white.
