Horror Movies, Plus Rocky Horror
Aug. 14th, 2008 04:45 pmFor those of you that didn’t know, it looks like Wil Wheaton’s blog has an LJ feed--
wilwheaton. I’ve added it to my friends list, especially after reading this post where he thinks back on his first Rocky Horror experience. Because MTV’s remaking it.
For those that are interested, I managed to find the Boris Karloff section of the movie Black Sabbath, made in 1963. The story was The Wurdulak, and it’s definitely worth watching—suitably creepy, and not that gory. Since it’s in the public domain, it’s not violating anything by being on Youtube. Part 1. Part 2. Part 3. Part 4. Part 5.
In other news, I just put in a request (at SurftheChannel) for the one episode of Highlander they don’t seem to have yet. Archangel. Also, these movies: House of Frankenstein (the 1997 4 hour long tv movie), Shadow of the Vampire, The Curse of Dracula (which has so many aliases—and was redone into a different tv movie in the 90’s, for the Sci-Fi Channel), High Spirits, Love at First Bite, Saturday the 14th, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III. Maybe they’ll have better luck finding something somewhere than I did, for some of those more obscure ones.
