Tetanus Shots, Flu Shots, And Dick Grayson Gets His Own Show

Yesterday, I went to my check-up with my regular doctor. While there, she mentioned she had flu shots, and I mentioned I hadn’t gotten a Tetanus shot in 13 years, so it’s probably time for one. Mom hadn’t had one in 35 years, so it was definitely time for her to get one, too.

So now, we both have a tetanus shot in our right arms, a flu shot in our left arms, and I had blood drawn from my left arm, too. Something to prevent whooping cough was also added to my tetanus shot, since I might be vulnerable to it, since I’m anemic.

A few hours later, Mom and I were both sick. Wikipedia didn’t really tell me anything, but Yahoo Answers did. According to Yahoo Answers, nausea and vomiting is a side effect of a tetanus shot.

Felt better today, so I went on to my last dentist appointment for the next 6 months. This Friday, I have another appointment with the assistant of the endoscopy doctor.

On to fannish things now. Apparently, The CW is giving Dick Grayson his own series.

In a previous post, I mentioned that I was really very tempted to (eventually, in all likelihood, I probably will join) join Chaos Theory—the X-Men power swap RPG. (I’ve linked to the taken page, so nobody accidentally suggests someone already taken.) I considered trying both Rahne and Illyana, but while it would be very interesting to see Rahne deal with either Dani’s or Shadowcat’s powers, (Reverend Craig would still call her a demon child even if she had Angel’s wings) I wanted to try someone different. So, I’m making a poll—simply write in your character/power suggestions.
