RIP, Michael Crichton

x_meggan (which is a basic account) to become a paid account with extra icons, and haven’t heard back--long ago, I believe it only took a week or so for it to go through. Then again, last time I did that I don’t think I ever heard back either, and the check was never even cashed. It hasn’t been this time, either.
I just found it odd, and wondered if that was happening with anyone else.
In other news, Michael Crichton passed away unexpectedly, at the age of 66. May he rest in peace. Reportedly, it was due to cancer--which he had been privately battling for years.
And Forrest J. Ackerman (most famous for being the writer and editor of Famous Monsters of Filmland) is gravely ill.
On a slightly happier note, there’s an interview with a few from MST3K (specifically Joel Hodgson, Trace Beaulieu and Jim Mallon) over at The AV Club, for those that are interested in reading it.
