Fanfic Progress

Watching Planet of the Dead yesterday (no spoilers here, but it was very fun) apparently broke through any leftover writer's block I might have had. I just wrote 500 words in 5 minutes. That's not counting the bit I'm about to write, or what I wrote down on a notepad (maybe over 200 words in a couple minutes on that front) and need to type in a few minutes.

ETA: Now have 608 words, not counting what I need to type up from the notepad.

More Fanfic Progress

Okay, as of this moment the fanfic is 1502 2064 words and still going strong. I just wrote the ending (still writing parts of the middle) and in it, the Doctor and Jack grab some extremely stale baguettes, and start a duel. The Doctor reminisces that he hasn’t had a good old-fashioned friendly fencing match in ages. A good way to work out frustrations, after everything they’ve been through, I guess.
