What 5 fandoms would you like to get into, but just can't
1. Wonderfalls. I watched the first episode when it originally aired, and just found it odd. It seemed a bit interesting, but I didn’t want to get attached since I knew Fox would cancel it. Someday, I need to try it again.
2. The Middleman. I wanted to like it--I assume their rather odd humor is just an acquired taste.
3. Forever Knight. I don’t know why I couldn’t make it through the first couple of episodes. It seems the sort of show I would enjoy. I’ll try it again someday.
4. Farscape. I’ve never been able to make it more than halfway through the first episode. It just didn't seem that interesting.
5. Bones. I should like it--but I’m not even a casual viewer of it, because I only give it one episode a season if I ever watch it at all. Mom is more a fan of it than I am.
There are more, but I’ve managed to narrow it down to those. Castle would have been added to this list, as I wandered away midway through the season—but I’ve been catching up with it in reruns, and still love it. Being Human also nearly got listed, as I wandered off midway through the season in favor of Merlin and didn’t care for it—but it’s on BBC America, so I’m trying it again.
MST3K fans: Torgo (from Manos) was spotted at Comic-Con. Complete with his theme song played on loop! Reportedly, he scared the guys from MST3K last year.
There’s a great interview with David Tennant, Julie Gardner, and Euros Lynn, courtesy of IGN. Interesting that last year at Comic Con there were apparently ten friends dressed as all ten Doctors—they sat in order of regeneration.
