12 Weird Sci-Fi Statues You Can Buy For Your Garden.

Io9 reviews the latest episode of Warehouse 13. I managed to catch something like the final 20 minutes of it the day it aired, so I didn’t know what was going on. All I knew was someone was stuck in a mirror. Now that I know the actual plot, I’ll try to watch the whole thing via On Demand later, and see if I like it.

Over at [profile] thedailymovie, today they mentioned Quick Change, from 1990. Does anyone else remember it? And if so, is it worth watching? Because I only know of it because they played the trailer for that right before The Little Mermaid back in late 1989. Yes, really. At the time, I wanted to go see it because Bill Murray was in it as a clown, and I hadn’t seen him in anything other than Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II. Here’s the trailer. If anyone wonders, at the time it was released I was 8—Wikipedia says July of 1990, but trailers were shown much earlier than that.

Oh, and a non-fannish related note. According to CNN, a girl (named Jaycee Dugard, I believe) was kidnapped back in 1991. After 18 years, she’s been found. She apparently just walked into a police station, and told people she had been kidnapped.

And just as I was about to post all of the above around 2 PM, the power went out. A couple streets away, a transformer had blown up. As of 2:30 PM, we have power back.
