First Haunted House Of The Month
Oct. 1st, 2009 09:45 amCurrently having the Support Stacie fanfic beta read by
seandc, and we’ll finish that up tomorrow morning. So I’ll then send it to you tomorrow afternoon,

In other news, tonight I am going to a haunted house. It’s open Thursday through Sunday, every week until Halloween, according to their website. It’s $18--I don’t know if that’s per person, or in total, but Dad and I will find out when we get there. Thankfully, it’s in a good area right next to the mall, around 6 PM. Or whenever people get there, as times are “subject to nightly crowd size.”
Apparently, if you make it through you get a free t-shirt worth $15. If you wear a shirt with your high school on it, you get $1 off. This briefly led to me trying to figure out a way to find a shirt with my old high school on it, so that I could try to pass as a teenager (I might look like one according to a lot of people, but I certainly don’t act like one--I’m 28) to get the discount. Finally decided all that wasn’t worth it just to get $1 off, since shirts for my old high school are $15 at Wal-Mart.
Church groups of 6 get $2 off on Sundays, but I really don’t think the elderly people (or the preacher and his family) at my church would appreciate having the life scared out of them. So that’s out.
Yes, I love haunted houses.
