The 10 things that make watching sci-fi and fantasy special.

Link to the Future. A fan film, where Doc from Back to the Future meets Link and explains a convoluted quest he must begin, that connects all the games. I know absolutely nothing about The Legend of Zelda, but I found it funny.

I just finished watching The Almost People, and I’m saying that I thought it was far better than part 1. I will not spoil it for those that haven’t seen it, except to say that it was a surprise. Someone on my friends list had theorized something close to what happened, but not that. A trailer for next week has been released, and it’s full of spoilers—watch at your own risk. Anyone commenting, please do not spoil for anything beyond this week’s episode and that trailer.

Oh, also? I commented during the tornado that if the mall was still standing after it was all over, I was thinking of going to see X-Men: First Class at some point. Hey, it was an hour of sitting in the hall—you’ve got to do something between waiting for doom. So, Dad ran out and got me a ticket once he discovered the theater was unharmed. Friday, June 3rd, 12:55 PM screening. Because he knew there was no way I was interested in going to a midnight showing.

By the way, if anyone’s interested in watching a little footage of the sheds beginning to blow away at Lowe’s, you can here--it's during their interview with the self-confessed hobo that took shelter, before he heads off for South Dakota.
