Well, that was quick. The blood test (and all the drama trying to get them that blood) was Tuesday afternoon, and I just received the results by mail a few minutes ago.* As before, the iron level is still doing well.
For anyone that might be relatively new to my friends list, 8 years ago the hemoglobin/iron level was 2.0, and I nearly died. According to the latest results, it is 14.3. Normal would be 11.5-15.0 and I try to keep it on the high side of that, so it's good news.
*Bad news on the blood front would be given via phone call, by the doctor herself, within an hour. Good news 2-4 days, via mail.
