Neil Gaiman was a guest on Craig Ferguson. I agree with Gaiman that it’s insane to be in the middle of a horror story and writing in your diary. “They’re coming up the stairs.” Well, put down the diary and jump out the window while there’s still half an hour between you and doom!
The Wolverine is due to start shooting in October, provided nothing throws them off schedule.

Starz has cancelled Camelot.
Launch trailer for Torchwood: Miracle Day.
They were planning to rebuild the Birds Point levee---unfortunately, they’ve hit a little snag in that, as they seem to have unearthed an ancient Indian burial ground. Nobody noticed when they first built the levee in the aftermath of the flooding back in 1937. I heard at one point there’s a chance it’s from the 10th century. Nice. It’s just a matter of time before we spot a Hellmouth.
I have a wireless mouse as of today, so I’ve finally entered the 21st century. Too much dirt and assorted junk built up in the old one, messing with movement as I tried to scroll this morning. After mouse ball surgery via miniature toothpicks, with Mom as attending surgeon to hold the light, and a vacuum, Dad (after sucking out all the parts, and quietly putting them back in, as I just gave him a look) fixed it—but I had already claimed his wireless mouse. That former mouse of mine is the one that came with my first computer, which means it dates as far back as 1996. It took 15 years to have any problems. Meanwhile, I still have my original keyboard, and still love it, so I’m waiting for that one to finally bite the dust.
