From Cracked: 10 Deleted Scenes That Would’ve Ruined The Film. The bums from Ghostbusters make the list, and from what I saw of it on the DVD a few years back, I have to agree that it just wouldn't have worked.
Comic Book Movie posted Fancast: Ghostbusters. They recast everyone in the movie. I don't like Joel McHale, so wouldn’t want to see him as Peter Venkman. Felicia Day as Janine might work, if she could pull off snarky and severely irritated with her employers.
