RIP, John Neville and Alvin Schwartz

Alvin Schwartz has passed away, at the age of 95, following a long illness. May he rest in peace. He should not be confused with the Alvin Schwartz that wrote Scary Stories To Tell In the Dark--that one died in 1992. This is the one that wrote Batman and Superman comic strips in the 1940’s, along with many other DC Comics titles.

John Neville has passed away, at the age of 86, after suffering from Alzheimer’s. May he rest in peace. I remember him best as Isaac Newton in an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Sherlock Holmes in A Study In Terror, and as the lead in The Adventures of Baron Munchausen.
