Some Excitement

Had a tornado siren go off a little while ago, as a tornado was spotted going somewhere around in downtown Paducah. As of a few minutes ago, everything was clear, and it was headed for Southern Illinois. They say it hits Marion, Illinois at 3:27 PM CST. So good luck to everyone in the way.

No damage here at my house, everyone's fine. It dumped an inch and a half of rain in 20 minutes, leaving the front and back yards looking a bit like a miniature lake in places. (We're on high ground--nobody worry unless K-Mart sinks) More rain is predicted through the night.

Dad was stuck at the other house when it all hit, and opted to drive home since "it's not that far." He said it was torrential, sideways rain and water was over the road in one spot.
