More Snow Has Struck

I was planning to head to the dentist this morning for my check-up/cleaning, but he phoned (on a Sunday, a bit after 6 PM, on his personal cell phone) to let me know that due to the 4-6 inches of snow that began falling earlier in the day (and continued until 3 AM) the hygienist couldn’t get across the bridge from Illinois, and the receptionist couldn’t make it—so for the first time that I’m aware of, he was personally canceling the appointment. Everyone will reschedule when this mess clears up. Currently, the roads are a nightmare.

We’ll see how that rescheduling goes. Freezing rain should start falling tomorrow at noon, and continue to Wednesday morning. Something else happens Thursday. He’s closed Friday. Saturday and Sunday should be a repeat of yesterday.
