Rest In Peace, Casey Kasem

Casey Kasem has passed away, at the age of 82, following a long battle with Lewy Body Disease—a form of dementia. May he rest in peace. He may be most famous for being the host of American Top 40, and as the voice of Shaggy in various incarnations of Scooby Doo over the decades. He was also the voice of Robin in various Super Friends shows. Ghostbusters fans should recall his cameo (voice only) in the first film.

I also remember him hosting a Classic TV Countdown (like this and this) on Nick At Nite every year, in the 80’s and 90’s, and that he appeared as himself on Saved By The Bell. He will be missed.
