Rest In Peace, Patrick Macnee

Patrick Macnee has passed away at the age of 93. May he rest in peace. Most people know him as John Steed in the 60’s Avengers series. Having never seen any incarnation of that outside of the awful 90’s film, I know him from the film Sherlock Holmes In New York, where he played Watson. After looking through his IMDB credits, I see he was also Watson in Sherlock Holmes And The Leading Lady (1991) and Incident At Victoria Falls (1992)...opposite the also recently departed Sir Christopher Lee as Sherlock Holmes.

So I’ll be tracking down those two films later, since I’ve been meaning to watch them for a while. He was also Sherlock Holmes in The Hound of London, and had a role in one of the 1989 versions of Masque of the Red Death (the one with Adrian Paul, which I've never watched).

...I may be one of the few to recall him from Lobster Man From Mars (1989) as Professor Plocostomos.
