Penny Dreadful

I finished the series finale of Penny Dreadful about 10 minutes ago, and I have to say that I love the show. I spent about 2 weeks watching it off and on. Wasn't entirely invested in it until toward the end of season 1. I definitely loved it by the premiere of season 2; after that, I inhaled it as fast as I could. (It helped that nothing else was on due to the Olympics.)

I wasn't entirely pleased with the final episode of the series, but I do think it was interesting. While I won't give any spoilers here, there may be some in the comments. There were certain characters I absolutely hated at the start, but loved by the end.

If the series is still eligible for Yuletide when nominations open, I know the characters that I want to see added, if someone else doesn't nominate them. If nobody else has plans to nominate the show, then I will.

I had an odd little interest to receive a Crimson Peak/Penny Dreadful crossover, too, for Yuletide. I don't know if that could come to pass at all, but it would be interesting.
